Vintage Bakelite Prayer or Worry Beads in a brown color known as Mississippi Mud. These old prayer beads are also called 'worry beads' because counting and reciting verses while holding them calms people down. These beads were hand carved from solid genuine Bakelite in a color that is a swirl of butterscotch, caramel and toffee colors. There are thirty three (33) 12mm rounds, two (2) rondelles.  These prayer/worry beads are in excellent condition. Tested positive for Bakelite with Simichrome.
